Space-Time Modeling and Analysis Workshop

February 22-23, 2010 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

GIS software is beginning to provide space-time tools to assist scientists, researchers, and other spatial decision makers; however, much more can be done. Professionals from all fields and disciplines are invited to apply for one of the workshop presentation slots. The workshop will offer intense dialog and demonstrate state-of-the-art space-time modeling and analysis. In addition to the selected presentations, approximately 100 other researchers from the organizing institutions will be in attendance and participate in the breakout discussion sessions.

Researchers working on practical aspects of space-time modeling and analysis are encouraged to submit abstracts for either a full (20-minute) presentation or focused lightning (10-minute) talk. Preference will be given to abstracts describing concrete results to concrete problems, and we especially encourage software demonstrations.

Publication

After Redlands GIS Week, one or more publications, including a special peer-reviewed issue of Transactions in GIS, will be produced to share the event’s results with a larger audience.
